Clear Glass Dining Table with Slatted Matt Black Steel Base – 200cm, Seats 6

Six chairs, a 200cm run of clear glass, and a base that looks like it was drawn rather than manufactured. The slatted matt black uprights read as architecture from across the room — vertical, rhythmic, deliberate — and then the glass above them does the opposite job, disappearing so that the food, the flowers and the faces are what you actually see.

That top is what makes a large table workable in a normal-sized room. A 200cm timber slab would dominate; 200cm of glass takes up the same floor but almost none of the visual weight, and the floor and rug stay visible underneath.
