This is a vertical fir wood shed that measures just 77 cm across and 54.2 cm deep, so it fits against a wall, fence or side passage where a full-size shed will not go. It suits small gardens, patios and yards that still need a safe spot for spades, forks and watering cans.

The tall hinged door opens the full height of the cabinet, so long-handled tools go straight in instead of being wedged at an angle. Three quarter-round shelves lift out in seconds, which lets you swap between stacked pots and taller kit as the seasons change. Raised feet keep the base off wet paving, a small hatch in the gable opens for extra air, and the apex asphalt roof throws rain clear of the door. A solid fir wood floor panel is built into the base, so tools stand on boards rather than bare ground.

How much space do I need for it?
The shed is 77 cm wide, 54.2 cm deep and 179 cm tall. The single door swings outwards, so leave clear space in front of it.

Will long-handled tools fit inside?
Yes. The internal space is 136 cm tall and 63 cm wide, and taking the shelves out leaves the full height clear for rakes, spades and forks.

Does the door lock?
No. The door closes with a wooden turn latch, and there is no keyed lock or padlock hasp fitted.

Does it need a base?
It stands on raised feet that keep the wood off wet ground, so a flat patio slab, decking or firm level ground is enough.
