Product Description

The corner sofa is where the garden stops being a place you tidy and starts being a place you relax. Five seats wrapped around a low square table, a spot for the coffee in the morning and the wine in the evening, and an L-shape that pulls a patio or a decked corner into one proper outdoor room.

What sets this one apart from the usual rattan is the frame. It is FSC-certified acacia hardwood under a light teak-look finish, so you get the warmth and weight of real wood rather than moulded plastic over steel. The rope is woven over that frame, not holding it up.

Acacia is a dense hardwood that handles the outdoors well, and the PU coating adds a layer against moisture and UV. The 6mm beige polyester rope is wrapped by hand for texture and support, and the fittings are galvanised so they resist rust where the weather gets at them. Cushions are Olefin 250g in a grey and beige two-tone, a fabric that shrugs off fading, damp and stains, and they meet UK fire-retardant standards.

Wood, rope and Olefin all cope with a British summer left out. Acacia is happiest with an occasional wipe and a cover or a dry spell indoors over winter, and the cushions last longest stored dry when you are not using them. Treat it that way and it stays handsome for years.
