How does the sink connect to water?
The sink uses a Hozelock-style connector, which is compatible with standard UK garden hoses. You'll need a garden tap or outdoor water source within hose reach of where you position the unit. The connector is included — you just need a hose and a tap.
Is a gas canister included?
No — a gas canister is not included. The unit is compatible with low-pressure butane, propane and LPG canisters, which are widely available from hardware stores, garden centres and supermarkets across the UK. The regulator and hose are included.
Does this need to be permanently installed?
No — the unit is freestanding and on wheels, so it can be repositioned. At 62kg and 208.7cm wide, it's a substantial piece of equipment and is best treated as a semi-permanent fixture. Boss Grill recommend storing it indoors or under cover when not in use to protect the finish.
What size space do I need?
The unit is 208.7cm wide and 58.2cm deep. Allow at least 60cm clearance on each side and behind for safe use and ventilation. A patio or decking area of at least 3.5m wide is recommended for comfortable use with access around the unit.
