This furniture style dog crate has a graphite wood effect top and base, a white metal frame, and black wire mesh on all sides. The fully open wire design gives your dog maximum visibility and ventilation while the wood panels keep it looking more like furniture than a cage. A single wide front door for easy access. Cushion included. Doubles as a side table or nightstand.

Does it fit your dog?

Measure from the nose to the base of the tail and add 10 to 15cm. For height, measure floor to the top of the head when sitting and add 10cm. Those are your minimum internal dimensions.

Always compare your dog to the internal figures. The panels reduce the usable space compared to the external dimensions.

This crate suits medium dogs up to 50cm body length and 20kg. Breeds that typically fit well include French Bulldogs, Beagles, Westies, Dachshunds and Border Terriers. If your dog is between sizes, go up.

Before you buy

• Already crate trained? The open wire sides mean your dog can see out in all directions. Good for dogs who settle better with full visibility. Leave the door open for the first few days.
• Not yet crate trained? The open wire design is easier to introduce than a fully enclosed crate, but a standard wire crate remains the simplest starting point for first-time crating.
• Dog that needs privacy? Open wire on all sides offers no den-like seclusion. A solid-panel enclosed crate may suit an anxious dog better.
• Chewer? Wood and particle board will not resist determined chewing. This suits calm adult dogs past the destructive phase.
• Puppy? Buy for the adult size. This crate does not include a divider panel.

Practical questions

Is the finish pet-safe?
PawHut does not publish independent safety certification for the board or finish. We recommend airing the crate for 24 to 48 hours before first use, especially if you notice a new-wood smell on unboxing.

Can I use it outdoors?
No. Wood-based panels warp and swell when exposed to moisture. Indoor use only.

How do I clean it?
Wipe the crate body with a lightly damp cloth. Do not soak the panels. The cushion is machine washable.

How long does assembly take?
Typically under an hour. All fixings are included.

What if it does not fit my dog?
