You press one of the 8 preset buttons on the LCD touch panel, wait for the preheat indicator, then slide your pizza onto the stone through the drop-down front door. The temperature and timer both show on the display, so you can nudge either without guessing. The stone lifts out for cleaning and has no coating to scrub off.
