Product Description

Sitting up to read in bed gets uncomfortable fast when there's nothing soft behind your back.

This upholstered double bed frame gives you a padded headboard to lean into and a slatted base sized for a 135 x 190 cm mattress. It works in main bedrooms and guest rooms where you want a soft, finished look.

The headboard locks at three set heights between 103.5 cm and 116.3 cm, so it lines up whether your mattress is 18.6 cm or 31.4 cm thick. Wood slats sit on foam pads and hook-and-loop fasteners, which keeps the base quiet when you shift in the night. Reinforced support legs spread the load across the metal frame.

Key Features

  • Adjustable Headboard: Three set heights from 103.5 cm to 116.3 cm match your mattress depth.
  • Quiet Slatted Base: Hook-and-loop fasteners and EVA foam pads stop the slats creaking as you move.
  • 500 kg Load Capacity: Reinforced support legs and a metal frame spread weight and resist wobble.
  • No Box Spring Needed: The slats support your mattress directly, so you buy one less item.
  • Padded Grid-Stitched Panel: Soft upholstered fabric warms up a plain bedroom wall.

FAQs

What size mattress does this bed take?
It takes a standard UK double mattress, 135 x 190 cm. The frame itself measures 195.3 x 138.5 cm.

Can I change the headboard height?
Yes. It sets at three heights between 103.5 cm and 116.3 cm, so you can match it to mattresses from 18.6 cm to 31.4 cm thick.

How much weight will the frame hold?
The maximum static load is 500 kg, spread across a metal frame and its reinforced support legs.

Does it need assembling?
