Product Description

A rectangular parasol covers more of your table than a round one — the 2.4 x 3m grey canopy gives full shade across a 6–8 seater dining set.

The 3m length runs along the length of the table and the 2.4m width covers the width, so guests at the ends aren't left squinting. The crank raises the canopy smoothly and the tilt lets you angle it as the sun shifts across your garden without moving the whole parasol. The powder-coated grey pole and 38mm diameter sit through a standard dining table hole or in a compatible weighted base.

UPF 50 weather-proof polyester canopy, 8 ribs, grey throughout — a clean, unfussy solution for a long dining table that needs proper shade from midday through to late afternoon.

Does a base come with this parasol?
No — a base is sold separately. The 38mm pole is compatible with the 16kg Polycrete Round Parasol Base and the 14kg Poly Resin Parasol Base.

Why choose rectangular over round?
A rectangular parasol aligns with the length and width of a rectangular dining table, giving more even shade across all seats. A 3m round parasol would leave the ends of a long table exposed.

Will it fit through my dining table?
If your dining table has a central parasol hole, the 38mm pole will fit most standard openings. Check your table's hole diameter before purchasing.

Is it shower-proof?
Yes — the canopy has a weather-proof coating and UPF 50 rating. Close the parasol in heavy rain or wind.

What size table does it suit best?
The 2.4 x 3m canopy works well over dining tables seating 6–8 people. For 4-seater sets, a 2.7m round parasol may be sufficient.
