Bikes and garden tools left leaning against the house get rained on and go rusty, so this shed gives them a dry spot behind a locked door.

This is an 8x6ft galvanised steel garden shed from Outsunny in a brown wood effect finish, made for gardens that need timber looks without the upkeep of real wood. It measures 236 cm wide by 171 cm deep, with 224 x 160 cm of inner storage for a mower, a couple of bikes and a run of shelving.

The apex roof runs water off to both sides rather than letting it sit. Double sliding doors open an 80 cm gap and slide along the front, so you lose no space to a swinging door on a tight patio. Four louvred vents in the gables keep air moving, and the doors take a padlock when you want the contents shut away.
