The two-tier roof is the structural centrepiece. The upper vent allows warm air to escape naturally, reducing heat build-up beneath the canopy — a meaningful difference on a British summer afternoon when the sun is low and direct.

The powder-coated aluminium frame resists rust and surface degradation without annual treatment. The galvanised steel roof panels carry a 100 kg snow load rating, making this a structure you can leave standing through winter without concern.

It withstands winds up to 61 km/h and can be anchored to hard surfaces via expansion screws or soft ground via stakes — both sets included. For timber decking, specialist wood screws are recommended to avoid splitting (not included).

Assembly takes 3–4 hours with 2–4 people. The manual is structured box by box, with a parts checklist for each stage, so you can verify contents before you begin rather than discovering a missing component mid-build. Planning permission is not required under permitted development rights, though we always recommend confirming with your local council if your property has any restrictions.
