The roof is built from 6mm double-wall polycarbonate panels set into aluminium beams. This construction diffuses harsh sunlight rather than blocking it entirely, keeping the space bright without the glare — and it holds up to 100kg of snow load.

The powder-coated steel frame is rated to Windproof Level 6 — a Strong Breeze of up to 49 km/h (31 mph) — so it stays put through typical British summer weather without needing to be dismantled.

It works on any surface. Use the included expansion screws for concrete or paving, and the ground stakes for grass or soil. For timber decking, specialist wood expansion screws are recommended to avoid splitting — these aren't included but are widely available.

Assembly takes 3–4 hours and is best tackled with 2–4 people. Safety gloves are included in the box.
