Product Description

A 14kg poly resin parasol base that accommodates a wider range of pole sizes than most standard bases — from 35mm up to 48mm.

Made from poly resin with a grey finish, this fillable base can be used dry at 14kg or filled with water or sand for additional stability. Fill with water if you plan to move it around the garden — it's easier to empty than sand. Insert the pole through the centre opening, tighten the collar, and the parasol is secure. At 14kg unfilled it's lighter to carry than a solid polycrete base, making it easier to position before filling.

The wider 35–48mm compatibility makes it suitable for both standard 38mm upright parasols and larger poles.

Should I fill it with water or sand?
Either works. Water is recommended if you plan to move the base around — it's easier to drain than to remove sand. Sand is slightly heavier for the same volume and suits a permanently fixed position.

What pole sizes does it fit?
This base fits poles from 35mm to 48mm in diameter. It is compatible with standard 38mm upright parasols including the Royalcraft Crank and Tilt LED Strip Parasols and the Crank and Tilt Rectangular Parasol.

How heavy is it when filled?
The unfilled weight is 14kg. Filled weight will vary depending on the fill material and volume — check the product for the maximum fill capacity.

Is this suitable for cantilever parasols?
No. This base is designed for upright pole parasols only. For cantilever parasols, use the 80kg Water Fillable Base for Cantilever Garden Parasols.

Does it need assembly?
No assembly required. Insert the parasol pole, tighten the collar, and fill if desired.
