Do I need to buy weights separately?
Yes — the cross base is included but requires approximately 100kg of ballast weights to anchor the parasol safely. These are not included. Water-fill or sand-fill parasol base weights are suitable and we stock compatible options separately.

Will the solar lights work in the UK?
Yes — the solar panel charges the built-in battery over approximately 10 hours of daylight, providing up to 3.5 hours of ambient light after dark. On overcast days charging will be slower; position the parasol where it receives the most available light for best results.

How does the tilt and rotation work?
The canopy tilts to five positions to angle shade as the sun moves, and rotates a full 360° around the pole. Both adjustments are made manually without tools, so you can direct shade precisely without moving the base or the furniture underneath.

What size patio or garden do I need?
The canopy spans approximately 3 x 3m (298 x 296cm) and the cross base is 100 x 100cm. A patio or garden area of at least 4 x 4m is recommended to allow comfortable clearance when the canopy is rotated.

How do I store it over winter?
Close the canopy fully, secure with the wind rope and fit the included protective cover. Store in a dry, sheltered location such as a garage or shed during prolonged winter periods to extend the life of the fabric and frame.
