Product Description

Four chairs around a 120cm round table, the kind of set that turns a corner of the patio into the place you eat all summer. The draw is the top: an acacia sunray pattern fanning out from a terrazzo centre, so the table is the thing people look at before they sit down.

That terrazzo insert is the trick. Speckled stone set into the middle of the wood, it gives you a heat-tolerant, wipeable centre for hot dishes and drinks while the acacia keeps the warmth of timber around it.

The frame and sunray top are FSC-certified acacia hardwood under a light teak-look PU finish, built to take the weather. The four chairs are woven in 6mm beige polyester rope across the back and seat, with Olefin cushions on top in a grey and beige two-tone, a fabric that resists fading, damp and stains. There is no parasol hole, so the sunray top stays unbroken. For shade, set a freestanding parasol alongside.

Acacia, rope and Olefin all sit out happily through the season. An occasional wipe, a cover or dry winter storage for the wood, and the cushions kept dry when not in use will see it through years rather than seasons.
