Twin-wall construction traps air between layers, reducing heat build-up on bright days and providing meaningful insulation compared to a single-sheet roof. It also deflects light rain without noise amplification — a common complaint with thinner polycarbonate panels.
The frame combines steel and aluminium, rated to Windproof Level 6 (up to 49km/h) with a snow load capacity of 100kg. Four corner posts are spaced to give a clear internal footprint of 3.15 x 2.55m — enough room for a six-seat dining set with space to move around it.
Assembly takes 2–3 hours with 2–4 people and full instructions are included. The gazebo suits both soft ground (ground stakes supplied) and hard surfaces — for patios or concrete, masonry expansion screws are recommended; for timber decking, use specialist wood expansion screws to avoid splitting the boards. Neither are included.
