Thickness: 8–10cm is the practical minimum for comfortable seating. Thicker cushions (12–15cm) are more comfortable for extended sitting but take longer to dry if they get wet.

Throws and Blankets

Lighting is the most underrated patio accessory. A well-lit outdoor space is usable from dusk until late; a poorly lit one empties as soon as the sun goes down. String lights above the seating area are the most popular and effective choice — they create a warm, festive atmosphere and are easy to install. Creating a Cohesive Look
